We are pleased to offer private group workshops! Depending on your group size, we offer workshops both at our flagship studio, Wilcoxson Brooklyn Ceramics (69A West Street), and our sister studio, Loft Ceramics Studio (79 West Street), along the Historic Greenpoint waterfront in Brooklyn.

The workshop is 3 hours and is a beginner level class, with no previous experience required.

This a hand building course using slabs of porcelain to build functional ceramic objects (e.g. mugs, planters).

In the workshop, we will apply colored clay "slips" to the surface of the clay and create decorative patterns and designs in blue, black, gray, and pink. After your ceramic pieces are made, they dry slowly for a few days, then are fired in the kilns with a clear glaze.

Workshop participants will make at least 2 pieces that will be finished with glaze. Your pieces can be picked up 2-3 weeks after the workshop.

All ages welcomed! The experience is great for corporate team buildings, birthdays, private friend gatherings, and get togethers. Feel comfortable to even bring food and wine along!
